About The Owners
Alex grew up in Mackenzie before moving to Prince George at age 18. His passion for craftsmanship led him to earn his Carpenter ticket in 2010, and after a few years in the industry, he decided to pursue a second ticket in electrical work in 2015. The following year, he founded Trudel Homes and Electrical, turning his dreams into reality.
In 2024, Kayla joined the team, leaving behind a beloved career in healthcare to bring her valuable management experience to the company. She now shines as our operational manager, organizer, bookkeeper, and takes on any other role she sees fit—all while Alex continues to build, create, and bring ideas to life.
In 2024, they came up with the idea of creating a sister company under their main business to focus on concrete work and related aspects. Alex wanted Kayla and her kids to feel a sense of ownership, so he named the company after Kayla’s maiden name. Thus, Beetstra Foundations and Water Cisterns was born!
